We are thrilled to announce the newest member of our DAC lineup: The Palisade DAC.
The Palisade DAC is a “distilled” version of our flagship Cascade DAC. It is designed for the modern listener, focusing exclusively on digital inputs to provide near-Cascade level performance at a much more accessible price point. Please note that there will be no analog input options on this model. Initial listening tests have confirmed incredible performance and some new characteristics we think listeners will absolutely love.
Key Design Features:
- Two-Box Solution: A streamlined system consisting of a Digital Director and an Analog Converter.
- 4 Hybrid DAC MKII Modules: Boosted by newly developed technologies, the Palisade DAC pushes four Hybrid DAC MKII modules to unprecedented levels of performance.
- Femto 33 MKIII: The Palisade features the same world-class audio clock technology found in The Cascade DAC.
- Analog Preamp Output: A passively attenuated, 150Ω, fully balanced XLR integrated preamp.
- Sentinel Trickle-Down Designs: Utilizing lessons learned from EMI protection in the Sentinel DAC, we have integrated an advanced new layout to protect the conversion process.
- BDT Enabled: The Palisade features the same life-like BDT processing that is found in the Cascade and Sentinel DAC models.
- Integrated Power: The Analog Converter now includes a sophisticated linear integrated power supply, simplifying the footprint without compromising the MSB standard of low-noise and power stability. Extensive internal shielding was incorporated to remove the effects of the power supply on the analog circuitry.
